It addresses human’s use of plants as medicine, and deals with plants as medicine as well as plants as sacred beings. Once, the two were inseparable.
Color plates of nineteen species of plants, a short compendium of plants and their uses as sacred medicine, and an appendix that addresses ethical harvesting are also included.
