Cedar trees are very old, wise and powerful spirits that have been revered for its spiritual significance for thousands of years. Each sacred cedar stick is tied together with natural thread and measures approximately between 4" and 4.5" inches long and some pieces will naturally fall off wand, so simply save them and you can create loose incense to burn.  To practice smudging around your home or on yourself clear your mind and for your space start with clear intentions, open all windows, light a bundle from the top end or crush its leaves and put them on a burning charcoal tablet on a safe dish or surface.
