All domestic orders are shipped USP and do require SIGNATURE for all items upon delivery. If you need a rug to get to you faster than ground shipping please email us at hello@SoukandSoul.com and we will get you a custom shipping quote. All orders are shipped within 5-7 business days from the time the payment and shipping information is received. Once the order is shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with the tracking number.

This unique piece showcases the artistic and creative side of Moroccan weavers. The color tones fade from a deep wine color to a burgundy throughout this thick and plush Boujaad rug.

Moroccan rugs are hand woven by Berber women of the tribal region specified. Each rug can take a few months to year to complete. The weaving techniques have been passed down through the generations. From modern designs to vintage abstract form this is a way the Berber women carefully preserve their heritage of technique and knowledge passing down messages in wool from one generation to another creating textiles full of life and charm

Imsaal- Meaning Unique, one of a kind and that is what makes each Moroccan piece special. With the uniqueness of each piece that I  hand select during my sourcing trips it reminds me just how creative and talented each of the artisans truly are. The woman who made this pieces has weaved woman figures and other knotted symbols of protection (evil eye) throughout this perfectly faded red piece.

Tamegroute is a village located in the Draa River valley in southern Morocco., just before the immense Sahara. In the Berber language, Tamegroute means ‘last place before the desert’.

The color and texture is a result of the particular alchemy created by the potters of Tamegroute and remains a family affair handed down through the generations as each pottery piece is completely unique and no two are ever the same. Tamegroute pottery are true showpieces showing that even imperfect can be perfect. Please note that the traditional method in which the plates are fired involves stacking which result in tiny 'scars' in the glaze making each plate unique. Wabi-Sabi - Discoving the beauty in the imperfect.
