I began working with the ladies here at the cooperative in early 2019 after a sourcing trip to Ouarzazate. When we collaborate on designing a piece a portion of the proceeds from purchases go directly to the weaver and the group fund in order to build more space and programs for other women to work. In this region, they use natural wool and dyes such as Turmeric and pomegranate skin to create beautiful shades of yellow. Also, onion or hibiscus to create the shades of pinks and reds to Pine used to create the shades of brown
