DOMESTIC SHIPPING

All domestic orders are shipped USP and do require SIGNATURE for all items upon delivery. If you need a rug to get to you faster than ground shipping please email us at hello@SoukandSoul.com and we will get you a custom shipping quote. All orders are shipped within 5-7 business days from the time the payment and shipping information is received. Once the order is shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with the tracking number.

After the package is delivered to your door step, Souk & Soul is not responsible to what happens to it from that point forward. If you would like to set up signature confirmation, you may do that yourself after you receive the tracking information.

Vintage Taznahkt

Each of these beautiful pieces are found and hand select by me during my sourcing trips throughout Morocco. This piece is from the region call Taznakht  in southern Morocco that I visit often because of the beautiful desert and feeling of home that this region brings.  Using natural wool and dyes from Saffron and Turmeric to create beautiful shades of yellow and onion or hibiscus to create the shades of pinks.

This piece is a mix of Yellow, pink and browns showing the weavers free spirit as the pattern is one I have never seen before. You will also noticed the weaver placed mini rugs into her design showing that  Taznakht  carpets are a real works of Moroccan art ABOUT MOROCCAN RUGS: Moroccan rugs are hand woven by Berber women of the tribal region specified. Each rug can take a few months to year to complete. The weaving techniques have been passed down through the generations. From modern designs to vintage abstract form this is a way the Berber women carefully preserve their heritage of technique and knowledge passing down messages in wool from one generation to another creating textiles full of life and charm. Please note that computer resolutions are different and we try to capture our rugs in natural light. Handwoven Hanbel Rug

Each of these beautiful pieces are found and hand select by me during my sourcing trips throughout Morocco. This newly made piece was designed by Afous Ghoufous, or hand in hand Cooperative a village outside of the city of Ouarzazate in southern Morocco. I began working with the ladies here at the cooperative in early 2019 after a sourcing trip to Ouarzazate. All proceeds from purchases go directly to the weaver and the group fund in order to build more space and programs for other women to work.   In this region, they use natural wool and dyes from Turmeric and pomegranate skin to create beautiful shades of yellow.  Also, onion or hibiscus to create the shades of pinks and reds to Pine used to create the shades of brown
